Revival Conference and Night Services in Setiawan (25-27 Jan)
Do you remember that God showed us a cross-shaped cloud in the sky on Sept 9th during the three-day revival meeting last year? That’s one of the confirmations for us to re-dig the revival wells of Dr. John Sung.
John Sung was a renowned evangelist and preacher in China before the Cultural Revolution. He was mightily used by God! It is estimated that tens of thousands of people came to Christ through his preaching. During his mission trips, Dr. John Sung visited Setiawan on three occasions.
Rev Leow is so honored to be called by God to lead revival meetings in this place.
Revelation 4 & 5, Harp and Bowl Worship in Setiawan
During the 12-hour conference, Rev Leow led the participants to practice Harp and bowl worship according to Revelation chapters 4 and 5. We meditate on how glorious is the throne of our mighty God and how devoted is the worship of the 24 elders and the four living creatures! We meditate on how precious is the blood of the lamb and how mighty is the power of the Holy Spirit. We anticipate the coming worldwide revival that every creature will sing praises to God.
Besides reading and meditating on Rev. 4 and 5, we sing out the content of the verses by singing related hymns. More than a hundred brothers and sisters sang together, danced, and waved flags. It’s such a wonderful time of worship. In fact, as human-made in the image of God, we are created to worship God. The joyful and peaceful presence of God is so real as we worship God together according to His will, using Revelation 4 and 5.
Worship booklets and playlist
The content of the worship is written in booklets and the hymns are put into a playlist, both in English and Chinese. We are so excited and thankful that they all came out according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit to Rev. Leow. This took him thousands of hours of prayer and meditation, listening to the Holy Spirit in silence and in awe.

Night services on a message from Dr. John Sung
Rev Leow has the honor to preach on the last message, “The End Time Workers of Christ”, from the late Dr. John Sung. Before he died, he prayed in the Spirit for 113 days and he recorded, “In the past, I viewed the work of the evangelistic bands as of paramount importance. Now, I think that praying is more important. The spiritual realm knows no bounds. When I pray in the Spirit, I sense that workers in the Last Days must have the following twelve characteristics.” What an important message!

Rev. Leow used three-night sermons to explain and expound these twelve points and shared his related testimonies. We are all so encouraged by the message. Though we know that the twelve characteristics are such a high standard for us to achieve, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can strive for it as it’s God’s will for us as end-time workers for Him. Jesus is coming back soon. We are facing trials and tribulations. Let’s get ready for it.
Testimonies of The Conference and Services
During the testimony time, people rushed out one by one to testify how God touched them during these three days. Some cried to God to confess their sins. Some felt joyful to worship God using Revelation chapters 4 and 5. Some decided to spend more time in prayer. People of different races, different generations, and different languages worship and share testimonies because we are united in Jesus.
Serving the Underprivileged
During those few days, Zona and the other sisters had the chance to serve the Orang Asli (indigenous) girls in Setiawan. We taught them sewing, crocheting, and cooking, hoping that these skills would help them to lead abundant lives for Jesus and other people. Revival turns our hearts to love Jesus wholeheartedly and to love people with action, helping the underprivileged.
God does not show partiality. God loves every tribe and every race. Though lacking in formal education, God gave these girls beautiful voices to sing and obedient hearts to learn and obey. God will use them for His glory.
What’s Next?
There will be 4 Days of Dr. John Sung’s 80-year remembrance from August 15-18, 2024. We believe God will pour out His Spirit upon His people as promised in Joel 2:28-32.
